Having regularly taught up to grade 8 with great success 2018 brought me the chance to expand my teaching up to diploma level. The ABRSM had launched their new Associate of the Royal Schools of Music Diploma (ARSM) and I was keen to raise my game and try it out. Lucy had been with me since age 7 and had already achieved a distinction at grade 8. Nathan was a new student looking to progress onwards from his grade 8 before finishing sixth form. I'm very proud to say that they both were awarded ARSM with Merit in May 2018. They both go into their adult lives with letters after their names and I'm busy lining up my next candidates!
